so you're telling me that taylor swift, who once was on the cover of times magazine as one of the women who broke the silence and launched the #metoo movement, invited a wife beater and abuser to her wedding???
okay, now that i have slept and composed myself, here is what i thought about the air. of all 3 stories that FB have played, it is the weakest of them all and the trope-iest of them all. following damsel in distress trope and forced proximity, one of the cheesiest trope out there
@milanjkrs But they're not masc, they're fems in a suit. And the problems is not a fem wearing a suit, it's the fact the the cousins are all the "top", the providers ans the ones using tuxedos, making it seem like there is a "man" in the relationship. I hope for masc rep, but this is not it
My bad op, I finally got what you mean. This post was lowkey vague plus the pics didn't help but yes the dynamics between the cousins and their wives have been a bit heteronormative
The only good part of that show. 🤌
I just hope their next project has a much better story same goes for EngLot. They're both GL icons and seeing companies use them to push something that feels so off is honestly disappointing.
I think this discourse around the heteronormative agenda displayed in these gls shows just how important it is to have educated queer women involved in the production of these shows. This top/bottom, uke/seme shit has done sm damage.
@FBlowkey It's not about the clothes. It's about the promotion and how some fans pushed heteronormative gender roles like they're the default in GL.
This account should be cancelled for being happy with this kind of comments and hype it up like this

CH7 Fans : "If there really is a new project, I hope Freen gets to play the leading role again. Drama fans are already hooked on her leading-man vibe. With Becky as the beautiful and talented leading lady by her side, the ratings will definitely skyrocket."
none of these women alot of Thai gls put in suits are actually masculine and it's fine for them to wear suits but when its used to push the very obvious top=masc, suit and bottom=fem, dress agenda itss soooo shdgshahfnhdjndc maybe let's start with hiring actual masc women first
@NodaReacciona What I saw wasn't butch representation, it was a male-coded dynamic.
They were calling them husbands and wives and it's disgusting to see their fandoms love the narrative
I feel like this is the simplest way of putting what I wanted to say all along, its not the more important thing to me the use of suits or if a character is masc of fem presenting (we do need more masc and butches) but the roles the use of these can sugest and reinforce
ngl you immediately lose my respect if you think women knowing how to kiss like they actually desire each other, or portraying lesbian intimacy and sex in a gl is inherently “pornographic.” that says far more about how you view queer intimacy.
