@Jen_HPP I dont feel informed enough to have strong opinions on RAM but even Get Lucky while being a very well crafted song has a weird lathargy to it thats really hard to shake but like its got Rogers on it
I feel like an asshole criticising it
@TheIshikawaRin Played it recently. Amazing, beautiful game
A great elaboration on OOTs formula
But I also saw how the design was reaching is logical end
And I think that would come to pass with SS
I do think newer Zelda games could learn a lot from its design though
@DavsPlays@CainhurstUmi Theres no classes just weapons and youre free to change weapon type at anypoint
The game teaches you everything you need to know for the most part 👍
@DavsPlays@CainhurstUmi If you can get Monster Hunter World thats probably your best bet
Since World, each game is broken into base game and expansion
So playing the base to dip your toes in is fine
MH Wilds is also good and is more current with the expansion coming out soon
@Alixxa01 I might have forgotten about wild world if I didn't see this
I lived in that world as a child
Interesting how I picked my first few for such different reasons than later section
Best described as cognitive impact, personal impact and artistic impact I think
@toindiaforever The name Cleveland! gives Sufjan Stevens but you gotta be a young gay man experiencing life changing romance to sell me on the idea of Ohio
@TheIshikawaRin SoTC was the first thing that came to mind when I hook shot the eye
I actually didn't realise there was a thrill that played in all boss battles when you do damage to them
So the music also sounded so much like a reference to SoTC to me
@iv_sal1 If i just wanted a clean vanilla playthrough of MM is 2s2h the way to go? Or should I emu
Not that it matters with such low specs anyway
I just found dusklight so easy to play and the ps5 controller colour would change based on your tunic which was cute
@newfaceofr39391@radiantzard Weirdly I became VERY uncreative with the ultra hand
But very CREATIVE with fuse
Specifically fusing things to arrows or shields
I had a lot more fun raiding camps in TOTK but navigation in BOTW was way more compelling
@Beni_IS_S_A I dont think the calamity should be the main focus but youd think people would mention it more considering it was the last major apocalypse while they appear to be in a new one
Saying TOTK doesnt develop on BOTWs premise is a pretty reasonable criticism
@Beni_IS_S_A Tbh this just emboldens the point
The game acknowledges SOME stuff so its inconsistent
I feel like there should be more on it
Tarrey Town is another one where they know you but the original carpenter you need to talk to to start that quest in BOTW doesn't know you in TOTK
@Forever_noir_ Love how hes coming up with all these excuses for the comments criticising him but one comment thats like "make it 2500 for the new tenants" and hes like "im going higher LMAOOO!" Like fuck you dude you just want more money
@catboy_collectr I think its cause im demi but for me getting a crush is like watering a plant
I need to tend to it to let it grow
But if I stop watering it, itll dissipate
Im sure thats weird to people but its how it works for me
@jenny2x4 In of itself its just such an evocative image
It could mean anything to so many people
Even the imagery of an alarm clock on a gun is pretty powerful
@NuttyReviews I actually found the marine you meet in the lava section more annoying and feel like they could have given better motivation to love Samus other than generic "ur the fricken coolest"
Like maybe how shes a prominent female bounty hunter?
I remember thinking they dropped the ball
@abcdentminded And some of the tools they give you are really strong and its not so fun having to handicap yourself by ignoring them outright
Still a great game with WAY better cinematography and choreography imo
@abcdentminded Yeah unfortunately DS2 has this but worse
I dont remember if network lines were along rivers in 1 but they are in 2
So you can find someone bridge built on your connected side of the river allowing you to drive over to the unconnected side
And it kind of breaks the gamr balance
@empyrealviolet We concede to friction all the time in games because we respect that its necessary for play
Why isnt Hyrule field a menu select
UX-wise thats perfect design
Less time rolling across an open plane
But our relationship to that space matters and elevates the experience
