Another 3 points on the board for @porthlevenfc against @STDAYAFC1 res
Always bonus when the team doesn’t play well but still gets the win
Massive game on Saturday at Pendeen where we will have to be at our best

[Gary Stevens @gazstevens6]

@porthlevenfc edging a narrow win against a well organised and resilient Redruth United

Going in at h/t 1 up and against 10, what should have been 3pts was made very tough by the home team.

We got our reward in the 93rd minute to win 2-1! 🖤💛

Porthleven going down to 4-1 loss away at Torpoint res in the TB cup yesterday
On reflection, we lost to a well organised Torpoint side. Both teams had chances, but Torpoint took their’s when they came along and we didn’t…
Focus back on the league
@markrapsey1 @Cornishfootball

[Gary Stevens @gazstevens6]

@AlfieTu58791841 @swpleague @GatesheadFC @SkyBet @TCFC_Official Truro City won’t even blink regarding ‘their’ reserve side. It is more of a Helston Athletic problem and theirs alone… shame as it could have worked really well

[Gary Stevens @gazstevens6]

@garlancs @Falmouth_Town @BrixhamAFC @MorganCoxhead good take from you that 👏🏼

[Gary Stevens @gazstevens6]

@porthlevenfc firsts getting another solid win yesterday away at Perranwell
Despite going down to 10 men for a sin bin in the first half, we kept our shape and discipline until back to 11. Scored a good goal, switched off and conceded, but went on to take all 3 points

Big win for @porthlevenfc away at Hayle in the @StPiranLeague

An all round superb defensive performance, taking the chances we made on the break to give us all three points and closing the gap to the top

[Gary Stevens @gazstevens6]

Not all games go according to the plan!
After conceding early, @porthlevenfc faced a Wendron Res side who set up to protect what they had. In the end, our persistence paid off with two late goals, from Ted and Louis, to win the game 2-1

Fantastic crowd at Gala Park too 💛🖤

[Gary Stevens @gazstevens6]

What a performance from the lads @porthlevenfc last night away at Penryn
1-0 up, pegged back to 1-1, then down to 10 men for the last 30 minutes only to score two goals (could have had a couple more too) on the counter attack to win 3–1!

@markrapsey1 @Cornishfootball

[Gary Stevens @gazstevens6]

A superb performance from lads, regardless of the result

Lots of positive adjustments to the team through the summer and we are starting to see everything come out in games

Last night, our 1st team suffered heartbreak as a last minute goal resulted in a 4-3 defeat at home to Pendeen Rovers FC in what was an action packed thriller.

After a tough but enjoyable preseason, the lads opened their account in style!

Tough game next week, but we will be ready for it 💛🖤
