@hohomelodic @Shopify They need to get back to not approving every single app. The barrier is so low today. Easy to rip off successful apps and no recourse for partners to challenge any of it.

@danielpatricio This has been my feeling for a while. Simple utility apps are going to be replaced for sure. Lots of hastily vibe coded apps will flood the market (happening a lot now with a/b testing) but they won’t be maintained or supported and the real teams will come out on top.

As a daily user, and investor, in Mantle this is sad news. Going to be hard to replace the stack they provide for Shopify app businesses. The team was a flash in the pan too.
