To make this technical concept fun and easy to digest, I actually created a comic about it! 🎨📖 Check it out below and let’s work towards a truly multilingual internet. 👇

What is Universal Acceptance (UA)? It ensures ALL valid domain names & email addresses (regardless of language, script, or length) work equally across all apps and devices. It's how we break language barriers and bring the next billion people online! 💻🌐 #UADay
Exciting update! 🎉 I’m currently participating as a 2026 Fellow at the Ghana School of Internet Governance (#GhanaSIG). We just wrapped up a deep dive into "Universal Acceptance" via @ICANN Learn, and it’s an absolute game changer for digital inclusion. 🌍👇
In April 2026, these 3 girls - Chimfumnanya Stephanie Aghaduno, Abasiofon Otobong Sampson, and Damaris Oluwasemilore Oyerinde - represented Nigeria at the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO) in Bordeaux, France.
66 countries participated, but unfortunately, Huaijin Lou from China won the gold prize. Our girls will try again next year and this time bring home the gold.
It was fully funded by ex-Olympiads from Special Maths Academy with zero support from the government.
Education needs to regain its place in our society.
@Real_Giilo People are writing bestsellers, winning grammy awards, fashion designers making waves, folks building robots and some people nations have public transport to space.
Kulikuli is the way to integrate is way to integrate into the digital ecomony, E ku ise ma.
@Real_Giilo That is the issue really , in this same country where young people are building autonomous drones, weaponry, unicorns ,children are taught how to code, agentic AI , quantom computing someone is talking kulikuli and akara as empowerment.
I am excited to be selected into the Ghana School on Internet Governance .
I will be exploring a deeper understanding of internet governance, digital rights, cybersecurity, data protection, and policy development.

Daim Hackathon!
My team won in the AI Racer category at the DAIM(Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Modelling) @UniOfHull hackathon, in collaboration with the Artificial Intelligence Society.
This experience opened me to further understanding of reinforcement learning..

Amina walks 8km every morning not for exercise for WiFi.
Her homework is due, her future depends on it. The nearest internet connection is an hour away on foot.
This is what the digital divide actually looks like.#CivicRouter#DigitalInclusion#InternetForAll#CommunityNetwork
I studied architectural design in Cameroon and every architect they taught me was European. Every movement, every theory, every name on the required reading list. The Great Mosque of Djenné, the Moorish arch, Great Zimbabwe never appeared on any syllabus.
Now I am studying management and every economist is Western. George Ayittey, a Ghanaian who built an entire economic framework for African development, has never appeared in a single lecture. Dambisa Moyo, a Zambian economist who argued that Western aid is destroying African economies, same.
Two disciplines. Not one African name in the required reading.
This is not only an architecture problem. It is medicine, law, economics, history. Every field is taught through a foreign lens and when a student tries to think beyond it they are disciplined for it.
We are not behind because we lack knowledge. We are behind because we were taught that ours does not count.
Anthony Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie was born #OnThisDay in 1936. He became a priest at 30 in 1966. 5 yrs later, he was made a Bishop & he became Catholic Archbishop of Lagos 7 yrs after ordination at 37.
In 2003, he was elevated to the Cardinalate.
In his prime, Cardinal Okogie was the most formidable voice for dignity, justice, accountable government, & against military rule. Today, he turns 90.
He can look back at his priestly & episcopal service with pride & gratitude.🎂🙏🎂
