These roles and the organisations thinking they're acceptable need to be called out @_BTO well done @WoodEcology Conservation is full of highly skilled roles, which should have salaries to match!
Can someone @_BTO please explain the rational behind the current advertised role for a Research Ecologist requiring a PhD or equivalent as essential critera but a salary of only ยฃ23,490. On face value, this appears to be a serious undervaluing of expertise, would you not agree?
A very bland and unsatisfying 'business as usual' response from govt to the 37,000 signatures asking for a ban on urban pesticides. My response is attached. When will they realize we are in a biodiversity crisis?
