@AAdeleke_01 I'm not that actively involved in politics but I will still vote for Adeleke. This goes for about 50 youths in my community. We are for Adeleke. This choice is about exposure which Adeleke has more than any of these other candidates and sycophants. Osun state needs exposure.
Political accountability is ultimately about outcomes.
A government cannot indefinitely ask citizens to endure hardship on the promise that the benefits are coming. By 2026, Nigerians have a reasonable question:
@officialABAT “What exactly is the benefit of the sacrifice?”
@AAdeleke_01 Ward 19, Unit 4 ... Ede south, Alajue 1. We desperately need a ward leader. I meant a reasonable ward leader. There are party members yet to identify their poling units. The ward leader should be on ground. Come on. I have some people with me now asking for where to vote. DM pls
More reason for me to vote for His Excellency @AAdeleke_01 be this oooo... Give me another... Because all the reasons listed here are why I will vote for him.
I'm not a party person, but certainly Ademola is acting on the figures and resources he has that he can work on..
Nigeria cannot achieve true progress if success is measured only by wealth, luxury, and consumption. Real development is reflected in the dignity of citizens, quality education, accessible healthcare, productive jobs, strong communities, and equal opportunities. As a nation, we must shift from celebrating consumption to rewarding production, innovation, integrity, and hard work. Government must create an environment that supports enterprise and growth, while citizens embrace responsibility, accountability, and national unity above tribal or political interests. Lasting change will come not from consuming more, but from producing more, building stronger institutions, and placing humanity at the center of development.
Nigeria is our home, not a battlefield. Youths, drop the guns, reject hatred, and pick up your voter's cards. Those who profit from division won't rebuild what war destroys. Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Fulani—we rise or fall together. #OneNigeria#YouthPower 🇳🇬
Given how pissed the old-time gangster grandpa is, there’s no way he wouldn’t storm Nigeria with a truckload of arms and ammunition if the Nigerian government ever legalized firearms like he demands.
If every region is uniting for its own success and interests, then who is fighting for Nigeria? If regional loyalty has replaced national loyalty, why are we still pretending that "One Nigeria" is more than a slogan? #Nigeria#Politics#OneNigeria
Breaking: IBB Calls on Northern Leaders to Save the Region from Collapse
Former Nigerian military Head of State, , has called on Northern leaders to unite in order to rescue the region from decline.
In a speech delivered this morning, Babangida stated that prominent Northern elders continue to pass away, a situation he said further highlights the urgent need for leaders to rise and protect the dignity of the region.
“You can see that many of the region’s respected elders are passing away, including top religious scholars, politicians, and others. Even I myself feel weak, and I am not sure whether I will survive beyond this year. Our prayer is to end our lives in faith,” he said.
He further stated that during their time in leadership, they did everything possible to ensure the progress of Northern Nigeria, citing the relocation of Nigeria’s Federal Capital from Lagos to Abuja as an example.
“If I had left the Federal Capital in Lagos and not moved it closer to our Northern region, perhaps today the North would not even be recognized as it is. Alhamdulillah, we have done our part, and now our time is coming to an end. I appeal to Northern leaders to unite and reclaim this region of ours, because we have no other like it,” he added in his address.
This move by Aminu Waziri Tambuwal reflects the kind of political maturity Nigeria urgently needs.
A leadership culture where experienced politicians consciously step back from frontline control to mentor and elevate younger, capable voices is essential for democratic renewal and national development. For too long, politics has been dominated by recycling the same actors, limiting innovation and blocking youth participation in governance.
If more leaders adopt this approach actively preparing and supporting the next generation like Faruk Malami-Yabo the country can begin to build a more inclusive and forward-looking political system where competence, not age or longevity in office, determines leadership.
Nigeria’s progress depends not only on who leads today, but on how deliberately today’s leaders prepare those who will lead tomorrow.
Xenophobia: No Foreign Investor Can Be Equated to a Nigerian Life, MTN Should Be Nationalised – Oshiomhole
I'm aware that MTN is quoted on the stock exchange, Nigerian shareholders can hold on to their shares but we should take away South African control. We should re-privatise it so Nigerians can take it over, and there would be no repatriation of funds to South Africa. During the campaign of President Ramaphosa, a major shareholder in MTN, he argued that foreigners are doing the jobs of South Africans. Now South Africa has high unemployment, and some have transferred aggression against other Africans. Life is more important. Nigeria should not look for investors who choose wealth over human life.

Governance is constitutional, transparent, and accountable—not run by whispers or street gossip. If you care about Osun’s future, stick to facts.
