@_willcompton Give it a rest WC, appreciate the optimism but it's okay to be critical of him. I know it's not good for the brand to speak against him though
@huskersby95@BarstoolHusker Sure, not everything falls on the head coach. But he hires the staff, sets the system, and oversees development. If position coaches aren’t getting it done, still comes back to him. When multiple units struggle the same way, that’s not just on assistants, that’s the whole system.
@huskersby95@BarstoolHusker Settling for mediocre isn’t progress either. Stability only matters if it’s leading somewhere.
Recruits don’t care about scraping above .500 once, they care about development and improvement. When the same issues show up every week, that hurts just as much as turnover.
@0B7R4C3 @BarstoolHusker Sounds like excuses for losing.
It's a down year for them. That's when you are supposed to be successful against those type of teams. Getting outcoached by an interim staff after two weeks to prepare with a bye week.
@huskersby95@BarstoolHusker Aww yes the endless loop of accepting being mediocre, but hey I guess brain capacity isn't very big for some fans to remember the last two decades
