We honestly need someone from @gmanews @ABSCBNNews to investigate what happened to us today. Many users suddenly had their Facebook and Instagram accounts disabled around 1–2 PM without any clear explanation. All of us were devastated to find out that we couldn’t retrieve our accounts even after trying the appeal process.

Some of us already completed the selfie verification and followed all the recovery steps, but the system keeps looping and there is no way to contact a real person from Meta. These accounts contain years of memories, photos, messages, and even work or business pages for some people.

We need your voice to help us so this issue can reach Meta and they can investigate what really happened and assist the users who were affected.
