@Conservative_BC Most of BC isn't even constitutionally in Canada because the lands were not lawfully acquired by the Crown through treaty or purchase as required by the Royal Proclamation of 1763.

Even the courts function this way, they can order a psych assessment of a self representing indigenous accused for NCR, fail to disclose the report and then use the non-disclosed report to intimate lack of fitness for trial and appoint a lawyer.

Canada classified Indigenous political existence as a potential security threat, produced secret knowledge from that classification, and now claims exclusive authority over how much of that knowledge the people surveilled may recover. Redaction continues the surveillance relationship: the state sees the person, while the person is forbidden from seeing what the state made of them.

@JimMcMurtry01 The Magna Carta never applied to untreatied indigenous lands. The Crown has never lawfully acquired these lands by the standard of the Crown's own laws for the Crown to claim jurisdiction.
