Just went to a baptism! The new brother proclaimed in his mother tongue the power of Jesus in his life. Not sure if such fresh testimony has been shared in that language in this city. What a mighty hand our God has! I praise him for the work he has done in this young man’s life!

Day 2 of the @IMB_SBC 's Week of Prayer!

Please pray for the Japanese people that they may know Christ.

Please pray for our missionaries in Japan that they would know how to best contextualize the gospel.

Pray that missionaries across the world would balance biblical fidelity with technological innovation.

Furthermore, another member of that group said he will meet with this newly-believing couple once a week for discipleship! God is so faithful!

🧵 of praise! A few years ago, my family had to leave what was then our place of service. While I trusted God would cont. to work in the 💕 of those we were leaving, I was unsure of how God would work through a part. group that did not (@ the 🕰️) have clear, strong leadership. 1/

I just this week received a note from a member of that group, saying his parents had just professed faith in Christ! I never knew his parents, but this member has been faithful to continue sharing with his family. Praise the Lord! To God be the glory! 2/
