Photo&video from right outside Valley Primary School in Bromley at pick up time. Just now. This now happens every time it rains heavily. I understand @LBofBromley can't do anything without money but can we please get a shovel-ready project ready now for when money does come? 1/n
🚨BREAKING 🚨 @HSBC just announced that they’re going to stop lending money to any new oil and gas projects. This is huge. And it’s only happening due to pressure from thousands of people across the climate movement and beyond. Here’s why it’s important🧵1/8
That’s a shame - it does slow traffic and also prevents undertaking when staff are turning right into the school car park. Removing this could cause problems on the pedestrian crossing up the hill.
Hi @RantyHighwayman and @adamtranter, I hear you have views on bell junctions like the one pictured (Farnaby Rd, Bromley). Just found out @LBofBromley is planning to remove the planter which narrows the road mouth, making primary school opposite safer. My question for you is...1/2
Fantastic welcome to tonight's @LBofBromley Environment Committee meeting, the first after local elections in May, and first with new membership of committee. Cllr Aisha Cuthbert, as Portfolio Holder for Environment, explains her responsibilities include clean air and fixmystreet
UK government's consultation on enviro targets is woefully inadequate and going under the radar! Please help with a quick response asking for stronger clean air targets. Current proposals will fail another generation of children's lungs 😟. #CleanAirNow

We wouldn’t allow our children to drink dirty water but they are breathing toxic air. Why isn't Government committing to stronger targets in the #EnvironmentAct? We need #CleanAirNow.

Crossing Bromley Avenue from Madeira Avenue even though we have right of way I always treat it like we don’t, if I didn’t I don’t think I’d still be here! Cars & white vans do not pay attention to the stop sign or stop line, just plough through….recipe for disaster!
Many thanks to @MPSBromley@MPSBromleyTown (Malcolm and team!) and @nicoladykes for 'police speed patrol' in the very busy (in peak hours) Bromley Avenue. Residents do feel blighted both by volume and speed of traffic.
Only 3 days left to bid on our Silent Auction & buy raffle tickets to help us launch the Community Sustainability Hub creating a blueprint & precedent for mainstream shopping centres everywhere! #newnormal#peertopeer#greenchanges#communities#Bromley

Emma Raducanu will receive a hero's welcome from everyone in the London Borough of Bromley.
Her awesome win at the #USOpen has already inspired so many young people locally and across the UK.
Pleased to hear @LBofBromley is working on plans to celebrate Emma's achievement.
This is a very exciting project in our local community in #London and we’re trying to reach our target so we can open by the end of the summer. Consider donating and share! #GreenBromley#GreenCommunityHub https://t.co/53ZE4GafuV
@Maria_Staines@TomCruise#BigginHill is part of #Bromley borough where this first Community Sustainability Hub will be based!
Your local Hub is intended to be the pilot & blueprint for more Hubs accross the UK. Help us start something great while you're staying with us Tom!! Xx
@Maria_Staines@TomCruise@TomCruise definitely a worthwhile initiative to support so that this prototype hub can be rolled out further afield to help inspire green changes and save our kids futures! 💚
Hey @TomCruise I hear you're in town 😁 please support us get a local environmental hub, it'll help offset some of your flying about 😉. We're all chipping in what we can but a high profile share and contribution would be much appreciated 🌍💚 #bromley https://t.co/rc4ga8QkEY
