The Leader of Opposition Shri. V. D. Satheesan must stop dodging questions with diversions. Secular Kerala deserves to know: what was the 'deal' behind your participation in the 2006 RSS Golwalkar birth centenary at North Paravur? Lighting the lamp before the RSS ideologue right before an election exposes a deep-seated compromise with communal forces. Was this, as alleged by leaders of Hindu Aikya Vedi, the cost of electoral support in 2001 and 2006? The mask of secularism has slipped; silence is no longer an option.

It is no secret that the same power centre seems to control both the Election Commission of India and the BJP. Even then, at least maintain the courtesy of two separate desks.

Now even that seems unnecessary.

Seals are being casually swapped.
A BJP seal on an Election Commission letter!
Just like the old allegation - that no matter which button you press, the lotus appears - here comes another “coincidence.”

Shouldn’t someone be paying attention?

For those trying to track the story:
An affidavit attached to a letter (dated March 19,2019) sent by the Election Commission to political parties carried the seal of the BJP Kerala unit instead of the Election Commission’s seal.

This is a first.

We have often heard claims that, no matter which button is pressed on a voting machine, the lotus lights up. But this is the first time it appears as if the BJP and the Election Commission are using the same seal.

Verified update: The document has been received by multiple parties. It has been cross-verified with at least two of the recipients. It is also confirmed that the email originated from the official Election Commission source. #ElectionCommission
