Three years ago today, Russia destroyed the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant and dam, creating one of the world's greatest environmental catastrophes.
The resulting flood swept through communities across southern Ukraine, forcing thousands from their homes, contaminating water supplies, destroying farmland, and leaving deep environmental scars that will endure for generations. Nearly 100,000 people were directly affected, while the consequences extended far beyond the immediate flood zone.
The destruction of the Kakhovka dam was a deliberate attack on critical civilian infrastructure and one of the largest acts of environmental destruction in Europe in recent history.
Rescue workers, volunteers, local authorities, and ordinary citizens worked tirelessly to save lives, assist families, and rebuild what Russia sought to destroy.
Today, we remember those who suffered and honor the heroes who responded. Russia will be held accountable for every crime committed against Ukraine and our people.
🚨 DIRECT FROM TEHRAN: "Arm us." The momentum is building.
This man just risked everything to show the world that the Iranian people want to be armed. They are desperate to get this message out, and after the massive response to the video of the woman I posted earlier, more people need to amplify their calls.
I asked for proof from the ground, and he answered by filming this right in the heart of Tehran. Look closely at what he is doing: he is driving down an active highway in broad daylight, holding an illegal sign punishable by death against his steering wheel, right in front of the Milad Tower. He is operating directly under the regime's nose to prove this resistance is real.
For the millions he represents, demanding weapons is no longer a political debate. It is a tactical necessity for survival. Peaceful protest against live ammunition has proven impossible. They aren't asking for foreign boots on the ground. They are asking for the basic means to defend themselves against a systemic slaughter.
He risked his life to bypass the blackouts and deliver this geographical proof. Do not let the regime bury his bravery.
Ireland is a Russian colony in plain sight.
Russian mafioso Oleg Deripaska controls the colony.
Russians extract 67,000 tons of alumina per month from their colony and send it back to Russia to build weapons.
That's 83% of total production of Ireland.
Russian strike on an ambulance in Kherson today.
Russia is systematically tearing Kherson apart, committing one war crime after another. The city is in a desperate, critical situation‼️‼️
Lots of pro russian Irish people telling me to ‘go to the front lines & leave Ireland’
I’ve just come here from Nikopol. The press armour is still in my bag. I watched Russian drones hunt civilians with my own eyes. That’s why the indifference here is so despicable, especially while Ireland still supplies alumina to Russias war machine.
I’m not going anywhere. This investigation continues
No, you’re not sending “more money to Ukraine,” and you never have.
You used to send American money to American arms manufacturers so that American workers and engineers could have more contracts, jobs, salaries, and tax revenue while producing American weapons in America for Ukraine or replacing old equipment from U.S. stockpiles.
That allowed the Ukrainian military to keep saving their country, while your top-tier geopolitical enemy, a KGB dictatorship obsessed with hatred toward you, could be defeated in its war of aggression in Europe and critically weakened for decades to come -- without a single American soldier firing a single shot.
But then you decided to start pretending that night is day.
Today is the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression. For Ukrainians, this is a painful reality that has become part of everyday life.
Since 2022 alone, Russia has killed 707 Ukrainian children, injured 2,548, and left 2,318 missing. The youngest victim was just two days old - born and killed in a maternity hospital.
These figures may be far higher, as the full truth about what has happened in the temporarily occupied territories remains unknown. In addition, at least 20,470 Ukrainian children have been deported to Russia or forcibly displaced.
Eternal memory to all the children whose lives have been taken by Russia's aggression...
“We’re in absolute hell right now. Everything is burning and shaking. Drones are flying in and wiping everything off the face of the earth. Some people are literally running into the city right now. We’re in a basement, not even sure we’ll make it till morning. There have already been strikes nearby. The connection keeps dropping.”
This was a message from residents on the outskirts of Kherson.
After this, the situation escalated further. Their home and nearby areas were hit around three more times. They and their neighbors fled the houses and ran toward the city. Everything was on fire, drones were still overhead. On the way, they saw at least two bodies lying on the road.
The family has since left Kherson and evacuated to Mykolaiv. Their lives are no longer in immediate danger.
This is the reality Ukrainians are being forced to survive.
The list of Russia’s latest “victories” over the past few days has grown to include the Yagotynske for Children plant, which produced food products for children. In the Kyiv region, rescue efforts are ongoing at the site of this strike – units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have already extinguished the fire. As of now, seven people have been reported injured. Tragically, four people were killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
Also on this list are food warehouses and a postal facility in the Dnipro region, an ambulance in Kherson, a school building in the Sumy region, port infrastructure in the Odesa region, ordinary residential buildings, and an outpatient clinic building in the Kharkiv region.
Russia continues its war against life, and everyone who helps us is truly standing up to defend it. Every support package with anti-ballistic defense, every joint agreement on weapons production, every step the world takes in sanctions against Russia – all of this helps protect people’s lives. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine! It is important for all of us together to force Russia to end their war and move toward diplomacy.
Russia is lying to the entire world when it claims not to attack civilian targets.
Russia attacks almost nothing but civilian targets.
Four people were killed in a Russian attack on an industrial facility in the Brovary district (Kyiv region); this was announced by the head of the regional administration, Kalashnyk.
Local channels report that the attack may have targeted the "Yahotynske for Children" (Yahotynske dlya ditey) factory.
7 people injured in attack on dairy plant in Kyiv region, two more people may still be trapped under rubble, — OVA.
A Russian drone struck an ambulance in Kherson.
A 64-year-old medic and a 65-year-old driver were injured. They sustained blast injuries and concussions.
A Day of Remembrance for children killed by Russian aggression. A day that should never have existed.
At least 705 children have been killed since the full-scale invasion began. More than 2,500 have been wounded. These are not accidental losses — children are deliberate victims of Russia’s criminal war against Ukraine.
Together with Save Ukraine and #WeAreAllUkrainians, we have brought 1,346 Ukrainian children home from deportation — but hundreds of thousands remain kidnapped by Russia, and the fight for every child continues. Klitschko Foundation continues to support children’s hospitals with essential humanitarian aid, and helps teenagers recover and strengthen their mental health.
If the world allows children to be killed, injured, kidnapped, it must ask itself: what does it stand for — and what does it want to stand for?
May the memory of every child we have lost endure—my deepest condolences to the families left behind. @klitschkofund
‼️ Russians struck the “Yagotynske for Children” factory, killing four employees.
People were simply doing their jobs at a facility that produces baby food.
Four workers never made it home. 🇺🇦🕯️
Btw, Ukraine is capable of targeting Russian civilians the way Russia does. In fact, Russia can reserve more of its air defenses for military & energy targets because Ukraine doesn't do so. Murdering innocents is a choice Russia makes every day. So is Europe not stopping it.
I asked a local councillor if the russian refinery here in Ireland should be sanctioned.
He said yes, if it was supplying Israel.
But Russia? No.
This is Ireland’s sanctions hypocrisy in 90 seconds.
