Civic activist Santosh Pandit has reportedly been detained by Pune Police after repeatedly highlighting dangerous potholes, open manholes and poor road conditions across the city. His demonstrations brought attention to the everyday risks faced by commuters.
The incident has sparked questions online about civic accountability. When citizens raise concerns over public safety, the response should be to fix the problem, not silence the person pointing it out. ๐
Judging Jauhar through a cushioned, 21st-century ideological lens is historical illiteracy wrapped in cheap academic posturing.
If Jauhar were just an invention of Hindu patriarchy or misogyny, where was it during the centuries of internal battles between Hindu kings? It didn't exist, because they fought with a certain honor that included not targeting non-combatants, including women, in any way. Jauhar emerged exclusively as a response to medieval Islamic invasions, where war wasn't just about territory, but systemic mass rape, forced conversion, and selling women off like livestock in foreign slave markets.
Feminists like Swara Bhasker preach about autonomy and choice, completely ignoring the reality of the situation. When foreign armies breached the fort, women didn't have a choice between death and living. Their only two options were a quick, self-inflicted death, or death after years of violent sexual abuse, physical torture, and horrific enslavement until their bodies gave out.
Condemning those women for burning themselves while ignoring the barbarians who drove them into the fire is pathetic victim-blaming. Jauhar was a tragedy, but the absolute onus belongs entirely on the invaders who forced that reality upon them.
@keshavbedi@drishtadyumn He proposed a dictatorship model for India's rapid growth, but only for the first 20 years, after which he intended to introduce democracy into the Indian system.
@sforsuprabh @AnmolNa93113645 @Arysangwan@alpha_defense Its not only for defense tech. Even for civilian purpose they don't do any research and development.
@Kovai_Karthic@braddy_Codie05@alpha_defense If he says HAL does everything on time kindly let him explain the situation about the other programs of HAL where HAL has full control. Might what to shed light about the helicopter built and maintained by HAL. You may be in for a shock.
@Vishal579461459@braddy_Codie05 Sir kindly share us the details of HAL contract with GE i am 100% sure that IAF only told them to do the deal. Also kindly tell the public what was the delivery time promised to the HAL and if the delay happens what were the penalty HAL put on contract on GE..
@Arysangwan@alpha_defense And you want to go to core of the problem. Its Material science and I want to know what HAL or any other defence lab has done for it in india to promote the field in india.
@Arysangwan@alpha_defense Engine problem is not something we are facing since last the last decade of 20th century. This is an age old problem might want to check what happend with plane design of 1960s.
@sanatmahapatra8@Arysangwan@alpha_defense First we need to learn to make good turbine engine blades that survive ground test at target performance before asking high altitude testing facility.

@MrLabelTV@AMAZlNGNATURE When it comes to strength elephants are strongest. But it's the attitude which matters and people who called lion as kings probably were not aware of Tigers.
Incidents like Nirbhaya and the RG Kar Hospital case are also opportunities for influencers and creators to make posts, poems, cartoons, graphics, and quotes to shame men and the country.
While I don't mind people's freedom to express anger in whatever way they want, it won't really help in reducing rape cases. Your thoughts will resonate with those who already respect women and feel anger when such incidents happen. Such men don't commit crimes against women.
On the other hand, those who do feel no shame. They don't care about your posts, messages, poems, or creatives, or being "ashamed as a man/society/Indian." They'll rape at the next given opportunity. Such people are not fit to live among us.
If you genuinely want such crimes to stop, advocate for swift justice, call for castration as a form of punishment, demand capital punishment, seek the abolition of mercy petitions in rape cases, and protest when courts show leniency toward rapists with nonsense philosophies like "every sinner has a future." Oppose those who advocate for human rights for criminals.
