Letting go of a project you've worked hard on can be tricky.
This month I'll be letting go of the Well-Paid Creative and its a bit bittersweet.
Choosing instead to focus on what I'm taking with me instead of the sunk costs.
@MissHarmonyProm Yes! His masterclass is awesome. Sandman got me hooked on his work as a teenager, he’s totally one of my favorite authors. Def one of his darkest works though
@realBrookNash 1. About 6 years
2. Referrals. I tripled down on them and they’re my primary source of new clients.
Also… focusing on results when talking about my services. Nobody wants a website or a funnel, they want more leads and more $$
I didn't reach any of my goals for 5 STRAIGHT YEARS.
What I didn't have:
❌ Unreasonable goals
❌ Not enough clients
❌ Low priced services
What I did have were goals that didn't work.
And when I fixed them? Tripling my revenue was just the icing on the cake.

@WeeklyConsult @Upwork@LinkedIn Requesting referrals should be waaaayyyy higher, but I’m not surprised it got such a low vote. So many freelancers hide behind an online presence because asking for a referral feels too much like sales.
@AshleyJanssen Thank you! Actually since you’re in the YEG area, you’ll be able to buy my product at the grocery stores!
I’ll be able to announce what it is once the ink dries ;)
