https://t.co/LRzxYvkJza endosymbiotic theory: chloro is descended from their own independent microorganism! LC

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

Chloroplasts convert straight LIGHT into FOOD. Call it photosynthesis or call it magic. I see no difference. LC

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

"Chloroplasts are the biological equivalent of solar power plants." Page 202, textbook. So much for "useless" LC

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

@GCellWall16 hmmm...the nucleus is stepping down, &we are all attempting to replace it. Way to take shots at the ally.LC

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

One of the main purpose of the nucleus is to store the genetic information. Therefore, our VP is perfect for the storage tasks. DL

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

@gmitochondria16 @GCellWall16 onion leaves have chloroplasts, no leaves then no onion MM

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

Contrary to popular belief, chloroplasts ARE needed for human survival, as plants can't photosynthesize without us. LC

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

@gmitochondria16 they need us.

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

@gmitochondria16 animals eat plants, plants have chloroplasts. MM

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

@gmitochondria16 if animal cells didn't have us, they couldn't function!! 😬👋🏻🙄☠️LC

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

@Gcellmembrane16 is clearly generalizing. Not all bacteria is bad 😌we don't want a #ClosedMindedPresident LC

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

@GCellWall16 Are you stating that humans don't need plants to survive? LC 😌

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

@GCellWall16 what evidence could you have possibly found to come to that conclusion? LC

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

@Gcellmembrane16 @gapparatus16 clearly.

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

@GCellWall16 which plants are those?

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

@gapparatus16 could not be more wrong. If plants couldn't photosynthesize, humans wouldn't be able to live. LC

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

A type of vacuole called phagosome that kills and digests pathogens. It is essential for the welfare of the cell. DL

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

Expansion of vacuole is driving force for cell growth, and maintaining cell rigidity. It occupy a as much as 90% of the cell volume. DL

[Pres. Chloroplast @gchloroplast16]

@gapparatus16 is that a Marx quote...? I think we all understand. LC
