Mazwi has been missing for over 20 days.
WHAT WE KNOW:
An individual, whose identity remains undisclosed, has provided information indicating that Mazwi was abducted by occupants of a white Corolla lacking a visible registration plate.
It has been alleged that a Pakistani national, who previously operated a tuck shop, was requested to vacate the premises by the landlord. Following their refusal, the landlord reportedly ask the community members to facilitate their eviction before Mazwi moved into the tuckshop to run his business.
Upon inquiry by the sister to individuals and friends frequenting the tuck shop, it was revealed that an individual named Zulu had been pressuring Mazwi to sell his tuck shop to "Pakistanis." Mazwi had consistently declined these requests, as he did not understand the motivation behind the persistent requests to divest ownership of the tuck shop.
A missing person’s case was opened on the 05th of April

Friendly reminder that Treasury introduced the sugar tax hoping to increase tax revenues.
In response Coca Cola South Africa quickly changed their formula, reduced the standard can size, and instructed their packagers to use a cheaper tin alloy for their cans at the same time.
Within months, Treasury would never see their projected gains from the sugar tax. To protect and increase revenues, Coca Cola then launched the Cappy brand in South Africa - a product with no added sugars.
I was 28 years old at the time, arguing with government-contracted management consultants who thought they’re smarter than me that the sugar tax was doomed to fail because unlike government, the private sector would quickly respond - and they did, in record time.
Interesting conversation about a fork being found in the kitchen but let's talk about it.
I have run out of words to explain the hatred that many Africans have towards Black South Africans and this is not even a current problem because these are some of the same people who colluded with white oppressors during the apartheid regime.
South Africa’s apartheid architects relied heavily on pseudo-historians who claimed the land was "empty" when European settlers arrived and claimed that black people are lazy. When another Africans use this exact rhetoric, it defeats any purpose of "pan-africanism". As we are people who are still fighting to redress our past, associating with individuals who echo the logic of the colonizer is a compromise on our survival. This is why the ideology of uniting is not feasible because solidarity cannot exist where one party actively undermines the foundational history of the other.
This is also why you see them discrediting any facet of development in our country and attributing it to white people to undermine us while simultanaeously claiming that we are the ones who are "mentally colonized" or whatever nonsense. I will always remind our people that there has always been a deep-seated hatred, envy and resentment but so many Black South Africans are still oblivious to the whole problem. When they show you who they are, you should believe them the first time.
But we also do not address the laughable hypocrisy of their performative radicalism because many of them will strongly ask us about removing White South Africans from our country but they also do not hesitate to tell us that they wish they had the same "white pipo" in their own countries. Once they are inside South Africa, this subconscious desire for proximity to whiteness often manifests as an active collusion. To elevate their own social or economic standing, some of them align with right-wing ideologies, while positioning themselves as a "hardworking" or "compliant" buffer class in contrast to native Black South Africans who are actively demanding systemic transformation.
At this point, we have realised that they will gladly align with white people's talking points to validate historical injustices, quite similarly to what they do to the Black population in America, and actively weaponizing those narratives to sabotage the progress of our liberation.
I remember the hyundai saga and claiming that white people have done more for us than Nelson Mandela among many other ocassions of disrespect which became the final nail in the coffin for me. Watching a Black South African succeed will trigger a passive-agressive reaction that causes them to reach for the nearest weapon available: the language of the white oppressor. Unfortunately, you can't build any healthy alliance with such people.
People can preach about unity for as long they like but the reality is that delineation and drawing boundaries has become a matter of political and cultural survival for our identity.
Save this 13-drill core sequence inspired by Russian gymnastics
This isn’t just abs it builds real strength, control, and coordination by connecting core, spine, and hips. Improve mobility, compression, and full-body stability.
Train your core as a system, not in isolation.
There's a !Kwi group called Tloutle. They spoke Gi||Xegwi (Xhegwi). They are related to |Xam. They resided in the Drakensburg but during the times of Matiwane, Mfecane and other wars, they sought refuge amongst Moshoeshoe's Bakoena, taking the surname Mokoena.
🍠 “My 87-year-old neighbor just dropped potato wisdom that saved me $200 this year…”
She pulled out a plain cardboard box, sprinkled a handful of baking soda like it was gold dust, and whispered, “This is how we kept potatoes through the whole winter back home — no fridge, no chemicals, no sprouting.”
I thought she was joking… until I tried it.
Old-world potato preservation hack:
1. Place your potatoes in a cardboard box (breathable = key)
2. Generously dust them with baking soda
3. Tuck the box away in a cool, dark place (closet, pantry, under the bed)
4. Watch them stay firm and sprout-free for months
No more mushy potatoes. No more throwing away half the bag. Just simple, forgotten knowledge from a generation that didn’t waste a single thing.
Who else is bringing back grandma’s tricks in 2026? Drop a 🥔 if you’re trying this!
Save this before your next grocery run. Your wallet (and your potatoes) will thank you. ❤️
I’m convinced America is one massive meme…
For what he paid just to get 5 stitches, I’d be chilling a whole week in the Dead Sea or Sharm 😭
