As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, Reception explored ways to feel good and help others feel happy too. We decided dancing is a great way to do both! @GreenfieldsCPS

Reception have been reading ‘Mrs. Armitage on Wheels,’ and for British Science Week, we got creative by designing our own amazing bikes, full of exciting changes and adaptations! We then worked together to build our very own bike. @ScienceWeekUK @GreenfieldsCPS

We set off on an exciting story adventure, traveling through the sea, the beach, Antarctica, the woods, and even into space! At each stop, we read a story that brought the setting to life. @GreenfieldsCPS

Reception have been celebrating pancake day with some pancake flipping and making mud pancakes. 🥞 @GreenfieldsCPS

In Reception we have been learning all about our local area. We have met some very interesting people from our local community. We have visited our local church and had visits from our local fire officers, police officers and road safety team! @GreenfieldsCPS

In our first half term we’ve been learning to read and write CVC words, helped maths monkey with his maths skills, practised riding our bikes without stabilisers, carried out lots of investigations, showed how creative we are and of course had lots of muddy fun! @GreenfieldsCPS

This morning some of the children were talking about the Hunters moon they saw on their way to school. The children have taken a huge interest in this, so we are off to make some rockets to go to the moon! @GreenfieldsCPS

Reception have had a lovely autumn walk this morning up Weetslade Pit heap. We even had a little roll down it!
