#YR If the writers anchored Phyllis' revenge to the Marco fiasco & its unresolved fallout, it would make this story explosive vs. a plot point. The Victor/Phyllis scenes that could result from this would be epic. Yes, different actor, but history lives https://t.co/6N3e5id7fu
@That_neguh_Fred@FinPlanKaluAja1 Yes and no,. In regards to the proposed SAVE Act, a REAL ID that explicitly indicates the applicant is a U.S. citizen is valid, but most current REAL IDs do not include this information on the physical ID. The issue is not the concept, it's the details.
@SOMAMadman@FinPlanKaluAja1 It's the details. It's not about an ID. It is about what type of ID (passport, birth certificate+RealID, etc.) will be required.
@FinPlanKaluAja1 People who may lack a state-issued ID include individuals who do not drive (e.g., large urban areas with mass transit), low-income residents, elderly individuals, students
@FinPlanKaluAja1 Under the SAFE act, a standard driver's license or last-four-digits of a Social Security number would no longer be sufficient on its own for registration. You would need: a passport, Photo ID with Birthplace, Real-ID+ birth certificate, etc.
@FinPlanKaluAja1 Beyond the burden on voters, measures like the SAVE Act risk administrative confusion, costly implementation, legal and constitutional challenges, and—most damaging—further erosion of public trust in elections. Safeguarding democracy should strengthen confidence, not strain it.
@FinPlanKaluAja1 Citing other ID uses sounds persuasive until you notice they’re uneven, optional in places, types of requirements vary, and inconsistently applied. That’s not a real argument for voter ID.
@FinPlanKaluAja1 Why add extra hurdles for a problem that doesn’t meaningfully exist? Research shows cases of in-person voter fraud are vanishingly rare — typically estimated at well under 0.0025% of votes, and often nearer 0.0001% — so tiny it’s unlikely to impact outcomes.
@News_Dr252 If I had the chance to talk the writers, the conversation would be bigger than this mess. It's the symptom a raging virus out of control. No plot but plodding.
@hananazizi77 In the first iteration of Jason/Drew, he was more father to Danny than Jason ever was. He left Sonny for his family. That is one of the reasons this Drew doesn't work for me. All that history was lost.
