@kosmofoto @DrMatthewSweet It's not the same thing. Film S is light sensitive, high resolution, and high contrast film. Audio is recorded on it using optical sound technology. Pixelvision used audio cassettes, a magnetic tape, to record video like a VCR would on a larger video cassette.
@matplotlib You're loading the image in grayscale mode(the `0` flag in cv2.imread), hence getting only one channel. If you want the original colors, load all the channels: `cv2.imread('your-img-here.png', cv2.IMREAD_UNCHANGED)`. Plot the result without a colormap and voila.
