@EmeraldRobinson This sort of action by the GOP is why I recently quit the party and became an independent. I will no longer send a dime to that party or it’s affiliates. I’m waiting to join a true “conservative” party.

@angelsforlove @catturd2 I've been an African-American Republican Party member for many years. Unfortunately, this party is now a weak tuskless & trunkless elephant. Therefore, I've officially ended my affiliation with the Republican Party and have become a registered Independent.

@LisaMarieBoothe As an African-American male, I understand when the Whig party failed to standup to Democrats against slavery in the 1830s, Abraham Lincoln helped usher in the Republican Party.
