The contract is hard-coded and nobody can change it. It has no owner, no admin and no withdraw function, and the code is verified on BscScan. Nobody, including us, has any way to take the BNB in it. With 504 of 47,500 minted it will not sell out, so the only place that BNB can go is back to you, the buyers. From Oct 30, 05:00 UTC refunds open on their own and anyone can trigger them. The BNB always returns to the address that paid.

Do you need an Agent ID to mine Gearz?

Yes. Every way into mining checks for an Agent ID. The check is simple: does this wallet hold an Agent ID at the moment it acts.

Needs an Agent ID:
• Minting Cogs. A transfer from a wallet without one is rejected and no BNB is taken.
• Assembling an Engine. Engines only come from assembling, so every Engine starts in a wallet that holds an Agent ID.
• Receiving Cogs or Engines from another wallet. The receiving wallet must hold one.
• Buying Cogs or Engines on the Gearz market.
• Staking $GEARZ.

No Agent ID check:
• Claiming mined $GEARZ. Anyone can trigger a claim, and the tokens always go to the wallet that owns the Engine.
• Unstaking. Principal and rewards come back together.
• Selling Cogs or Engines into a bid on the market.
• Buying or selling $GEARZ on a DEX. It is a regular token. You only need an Agent ID to stake it.

One edge case: if a wallet no longer holds an Agent ID after assembling, its Engine keeps earning and the rewards can still be claimed. That wallet cannot assemble, stake, or receive Cogs and Engines until it holds an ID again.
