Psyop crash-course. Either:
1) Fly a small drone, film it and report to local government and media. Demand action
2) Make a blurry video of a helicopter, film it and report to local government and media. Demand action
What I learned this week is that breakdancing is about conformity and following rules. Do NOT break tradition and/or expectations. Be good, but not different.
I was suprised by this new information. #Raygun
@JuanIsidro@browserdotsys@Spen_Hays Using powers of 2 made sense a long time ago. Nowadays we should just use the correct terms for powers of 10.
I get that it is cool to know something non-technical people don't, but we need to let that go.
@artlawish@CharlesOppenh@ntfc2@arthistorynews Right, but this about potentially using both skill and effort to reproduce, i.e in some sense copy, something in a new medium. But I get that 🏴 law probably differs.
@CharlesOppenh@artlawish@ntfc2@arthistorynews I can not find that type of language in Article 14 (though I haven’t read the whole thing), i.e that it has to do with effort or skill. I think any such rule would be detrimental to photographers getting work in cultural institutions.
@artlawish@ntfc2@arthistorynews Which is why copyright within the EU states that photographs of out-of-copyright works should NOT create new copyright. If you are doing something fancy, then maybe, but if you are just reproducing the image, then absolutely not.
