Gedaid Foundation has partnered Umaru Sanda of Citi Fm to distribute 3,000 books to three basic schools Basic School at Shai Osudoku District.
This literacy project will benefit about 4000 pupils for the next 5 years.

We are glad to announce that #Rotary Club of Accra West has supported @GedaidF to launch a #literacy project in Shai Osudoku District. The district is among the poorest in the G. Accra Region. The project will benefit 10 schools of about 3000 children & 50 teachers.

Upon review of the Sdg4, we saw that role of parents in quality education was not discussed but our experience here strongly indicate that parents are so crucial in Sdg4. You can give them good classroom, good teacher and materials, poor parental roles will lead to poor outcomes.
