I reckon the ashes has opened they eyes of most in SL. This weekend's games: Full-houses, close results, pace of the games and structured attack and defence. Awesome product.

At last we have the makings of a side to challenge: with Lawton & McWhirter as edge runners and Abdull cutting weight so he can run along with his passing and kicking game. Connell will be a star following Lawton & McWhirter. Retire Owens, get Mark Percival as capt.

@WidnesRL Hopefully we'll see some effort on our right now. In 3 games I've watched now Owens has done virtually nothing, in fact he's been out of position most of the time. Kicking stones in defence. What a complete waste of talent.

Run at PACE into SPACE.
Good coaches urge their players.. "hit the hole". We stroll into the man in front. (Mostly). Even our passing is slow and not crisp.

Ok. A simple poll.
I do not want Zac Lomax at the Storm because
1) he's treating the sport badly.
2) he's good but, if he never plays again I won't miss him from the game.
3) our club thrives on loyalty.
"Like" to tell him, the club & sport we don't want him.

@bscoot123 @WidnesRL @rlpix There's a reason why short kick-offs are towards the sideline: wingers back, wingers not forwards contesting, sideline as added "defence". It's really stupid IF he tried 10m up and under drop out. He miss-kicked it, pure and simple.
