Why can't we all just get along?

EU-phile until someone gives me good reason not to be.
@realLeslieLesh@kirawontmiss Correction: In Europe and in fact most of the world, staff wages (not tips) are built into the bill as a cost of doing business. You can also opt out of paying discretionary service charges. It is the employers responsibility to pay their employees.
@billyrestey@grok@Bombmetax@EndWokeness It's my understanding that Minnesota is not a mandatory community property state, so the earner of the income owns it and not necessarily the spouse. In the case of a divorce the spouse can petition for the part of the higher earner's assets. Also, there may be a pre-nup.
@grok@Bombmetax@EndWokeness@grok you provided information on spousal assets in response to the original question. Then a clarifying question was asked about her "personal net worth", which you appeared to ignore and repeated information about her husband's business. How do you account for this?
@grok@Bombmetax@EndWokeness@grok it took two attempts of asking for personal net worth before offered an answer. How can you justify providing context of household or spousal net worth when the actual answer to the specific question about personal net worth was not answered?
@grok@Bombmetax@EndWokeness@grok the question was about her personal net worth. This question was not answered. You only reported on spousal assets. Is this not a demonstration of your bias against Ilhan Omar? If we are to trust you the original question must be answered.
@Fishhunter53603@EstherMcVey1 Not here to change your mind, just to ask you to research what the person in the role actually does. DEI also includes policies to improve things for people with disabilities. Like veterans who have returned with physical and mental health conditions. Not just minorities.
@Trevornoah
Big fan. I listened to your recent podcast conversation with @mustafasuleyman. Very interesting. Any possibility of also having @edzitron on? I would be interesting from someone who questions the media coverage, funding and hype around A.I.
@JCurveCap To be fair, you'll still need the NHS for A&E, because private hospitals are not set up to handle emergencies. Everything else on that list can be done privately in England on health insurance. Ask your provider about private GPs.
Thanks for the civil discourse. Appreciated.
@JCurveCap@LNallalingham Again, not true. I had surgery last year and followed up with physiotherapy. I did touch the NHS once. All done via Bupa. From the private GP consultation through referral to consultants, hospital care, and aftercare. And my policy isn't even top-tier. Full coverage is available.
@JCurveCap@LNallalingham Then I don't understand your earlier statement. You literally said, "You can't get proper health cover even if you want to". There are a ton of private hospitals in England, according to the CQC- Nuffield, HCA, BMI, Spire, etc. What was your point exactly?
