Imagine if the Government told every home builder in Canada that they needed to create a master key so Government could enter every home. Thats what the Liberals are doing except instead of your home it’s targeting the entire infrastructure of the digital world. Infrastructure protected by encryption.
Last night the Liberals rammed through Bill C-22. While there are good parts to the Bill that Conservatives support to help law enforcement, we don’t support increasing surveillance powers on law abiding Canadians.
Even if Government never abuses these new powers, the vulnerabilities that could be created could be used by criminal groups and hostile foreign governments to break encryption.
Compromising the integrity of encryption compromises the security and privacy of Canadians.
I just don’t understand why people would vote for this government. Why would you possibly vote liberal and give away all of your freedoms? You’re going to be in a state where your thoughts are dictated to you by the government or else. They will monitor you to make sure you comply. This is not about hate or “children’s safety”, this is about control of the population.
Are boomers that brain dead and stupid? Give up our country to globalist billionaires because they hate Trump?
Having that coverage added back to your policy will no doubt be a decent increase in your rates - more than the savings of removing them. Because clearly the insurance companies are making so little money they required government assistance in the form of reduced mandatory coverage.
The legislation aims to censor political speech, while putting draconian rules around what kids can do online, writes Jamie Sarkonak

This cartoon is 100% accurate.
Ottawa is trying to sell a ban on social media for kids under 16 as “child protection.”
It’s not.
It’s a Trojan Horse for a **national digital ID**.
Bill C-34 (the Safe Social Media Act) sounds noble on the surface. But to actually enforce an age ban, the government would need every Canadian to prove who they are before they can go online.
That means handing over government ID, biometrics, or a state-approved digital credential just to use X, Instagram, YouTube, or even search the web.
They’ve already admitted real harms exist online. Predators, bullying, and addiction are real problems.
But parents don’t need Ottawa bureaucrats and a national ID system to protect their kids. Parents have been doing that job for generations.
This is the same trick they’ve used for years: create a crisis, offer “safety” as the solution, and quietly take more control over your life and your data.
First it was “for the children.”
Next it will be “for your safety.”
Then it will be mandatory for everything.
Canada is not a prison.
Stop letting them build the bars one “good intention” at a time.

@DrewPavlou@elonmusk This is exactly why Canada wants to ban X and any other platform who won't censor and lie upon their request. All WEF-controlled countries are trying to do this.
You deserve respect same as everyone else. Glenn Burke was the 1970's - a very, very different era. Back then being gay wasn't even close to being accepted compared to today. No one cares today. If someone came into the MLB gay not only would they not be kept out, they now have the law on their side.
I understand what you're saying about respect but I just don't think creating cliques between groups of people is the right thing to do. You are equal, and society knows that. People are just tired of hearing how bad everyone else is.
And this argument again. You want your orientation to be considered normal. You want to be equal. Yet, you demand special treatment. To be put on a pedestal. To have the divisiveness of a special months. How about nobody gives a crap of your gay straight or whatever. We’re all on this ride together enough of the divisiveness and special clubs.
If you had the perception that the world is out to get you and there’s a lot of what you call phobia, don’t confuse fatigue with hate. It’s more than just one month of the year. It’s down our throats 24/7/365. We can’t even go into a big corporate store without some stupid rainbow sticker saying safe space. OF COURSE it’s a safe space always has been you don’t even damn sticker to tell you the law is enforced in that particular location.
You already are everyone. You’re not more special than anyone else just because of your orientation. The fact that you consider yourself not to be “everyone” is a you problem. Putting yourselves on a pedestal just because you think you’re abnormal and different than everyone is thr problem.
