@FlySafair Sent. Please note that I have looked at many other connecting flights to various locations and all have at most three hours but some only have one hour. I still do not understand why you do not check the bag through like all other airlines

I was always a big fan of @FlySafair up to today. I was flying from CPT-JNB-ZNZ. First surprise, they don’t check the bag all the way through so I had to pick it up at JHB making me miss the Zanzibar flight due to bag drop. I would have made it if bag drag was in…

@FlySafair This was not communicated to me and would have been within 1 hour if someone had informed me about SAfair not being at international gates for international departures. If there are cameras at the checkin desk I would ask that you check what time I got there staff didn’t check

At the end of this conversation she said that bag drop closed at 8, (and I checked my watch and it was only now 8:15) and so suspect that if the person at the bag drop checked on the computer when I arrived, we would have been fine. Not a happy customer and will be taking further

Telling her most airlines do that, I was directed to their ticket sales desk for further assistance. They were unhelpful and although we were already checked in, they couldn’t make a plan other than to say we could “try our luck” that security lets us through with our bags
