i knew a woman like this who had her own apartment, paid her own bills, drove her own car and never had to call anyone for financial help.
one day, i intentionally asked her, what do you need a man for? she smiled and said... need and want are two different things, that she didn’t want a man to survive, she just wanted one to share peace, loyalty, laughter and a life that felt lighter together.
for her, love was never about rescue, it was about partnership
a man wasn’t supposed to be a provider she depended on but a companion who added value where money couldn’t reach cos comfort can pay the bills yes but comfort can’t hug you after a hard day, build memories with you or grow old beside you.
so do you understand now why you still need a man as a woman regardless of your status and achievements?

Another young doctor is fighting for her life.
A first-year General Surgery resident at IMS, Banaras Hindu University allegedly attempted to end her life after prolonged workplace toxicity. She reportedly overdosed on drugs. Right now she is on a ventilator, on vasopressors, battling for survival.
Behind every white coat is a human being.
Medical training is meant to build skilled doctors not to break them mentally.
Toxicity is not tradition.
Harassment is not trainin.
Prayers for her recovery.
Justice and accountability for what led to this tragedy

Doctors invest years poring over thick textbooks (like the stack below) ), endure grueling MBBS + PG training, long hospital duties (often 36+ hour shifts as Junior/Senior Residents), massive debt from education, high stress, legal risks, and life-or-death decisions—yet when patients pay a consultation fee in private setups, much less in government), it "pinches" and draws complaints like "greedy" or "loot."
Meanwhile, the same people casually drop ₹1,000–₹3,000 (or more) on a beauty salon/spa visit, haircut, or massage—services that enhance appearance but don't save lives. A simple salon haircut can cost ₹600–₹800, often exceeding many doctors' fees except few
This irony stems from misplaced perception: Healthcare is seen as a "right" or "charity," while personal grooming is a "choice" worth splurging on. Indian doctors' fees remain among the world's lowest (far below BRICS nations or US equivalents), despite expertise built through sacrifice.
Respect the value: That 10–15 minute consultation draws from decades of hard-earned knowledge. Paying fairly supports quality care—without it, burnout rises and access suffers. Prioritize health over vanity; the "pinch" is often more emotional than financial. #MedTwitter #MedX

No I don’t want to get back on the dating apps. I want to walk into a room and lock eyes with a beautiful man and we just know immediately that our souls have been searching for each other in this lifetime
We call it Enteric Fever to sound professional, but let's be real: Typhoid always means the sanitation chain failed and someone’s stool ended up in your mouth
Why is the flag not hoisted on 26 January?
Because on Republic Day, the National Flag is not hoisted, it is unfurled.
So, what is the difference between flag hoisting and flag unfurling?
Hoisting refers to pulling a folded flag from the base of the flagpole up to the top and then opening it. This symbolizes a nation rising to freedom and the birth of a new independent identity.
Unfurling, on the other hand, means the flag is already tied and folded at the top of the pole and is then opened. This signifies that the country is already free and celebrates the establishment of the Constitution and the strength of the Republic.🇮🇳
This young lady was my 2nd patient, ever.
Bilateral fractured legs(after jumping from terrac), tearing up on a daily basis to end her life, fighting with parents to get her discharged because what was the point of anything, anyway?
Guess what?
After 2 years, she is still under my followup, doing exceptionally well. Finished her schooling, started college, tapered off of medications, finds the very idea of ever having to want to off herself blasphemous.
I do believe it takes another level of being selfish and evil to want to make somene WILLING to live and laugh and love again.

someone said, "I miss the innocence of loving someone without the constant fear" and that just really hit me deep fr... the first time you loved someone, you loved fully and wholeheartedly, you opened yourself up, you loved with everything in you expecting the best and now.....
anti-indian racism is the purest form of racism I’ve ever seen. we speak english, we immigrate legally, we follow rules, we don't commit terrorism, we're smart and even competing in level playing field. people just don't like us because we're brown and have different accent
