I will say that I am in SV this week and Dwarkesh is capturing the zeitgeist.

Net, net public markets would probably be trading differently if they saw the OpenAI, Anthropic, Grok/Cursor and Open Source numbers over the last 6 weeks.

And really good for anyone who has installed compute coming off contract and/or is bringing on compute that is not already contracted. And credit slowing down capacity adds - if it happens - only exacerbates all of this.

Senator Hagerty just explained Trump's Iran decision, and it demolishes every Democratic criticism. Trump didn't act on emotion or a whim. He ran the numbers.

Iran was producing cheap ballistic missiles and drones at scale while the U.S. has expensive defensive systems that take time to build.

Here's the math: if Iran keeps flooding the zone with cheap weapons fast enough, eventually they overwhelm our defenses. Once they do, they have unlimited time to finish their nuclear program.

It's asymmetrical warfare 101.

Trump saw the trajectory. He understood where this goes. He acted to break the cycle before Iran reaches that point.

That's not recklessness. That's strategic clarity.

The Obama deal handed Iran money for terrorism and a path to nukes. Trump saw the trap and he closed it.

Democrats can criticize the timing. They can't criticize the logic.
