To the neighbor who picked up dog mess and then decided to leave it on my doorstep… I genuinely don’t understand what the goal was there 😐

I checked my porch camera this morning and watched a grown adult walk onto my property, place a bag of dog poop directly on my welcome mat, and casually walk away like that was a normal way to handle things.

And look — I understand being frustrated about dog waste in your yard.
Honestly, I do.

But if there was an issue, a quick conversation or knock on the door would’ve solved it in about thirty seconds 😩

Instead, the whole thing turned into this weird passive-aggressive situation that just made everything more uncomfortable than it needed to be.

At the end of the day, neighbors are going to annoy each other sometimes.
That’s life.

But I still think communicating directly works a lot better than turning someone’s front porch into a “return to sender” station 💀

@kristinaennis @590VOCM Very Dangerous in Rural Newfoundland. There are no supports. Not even through NL Health Services, no shelters, food banks, nothing. Isolation which keeps the abused, abused, more every day.
Its Horrible.

The Federal Government is now considering expanding Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) regime again when a section of the law already discriminates against persons with disabilities.

Instead of being offered assisted death people with disabilities deserve access to economic, social and community-based supports to live a good life - the same as every other citizen

Inclusion Canada CEO Krista Carr was interviewed recently by the BBC and included in this story. Canada’s elected officials should repeal Track 2 MAiD and commit to helping improve lives instead of ending them.
