@NurseIngrid2 Omg I spent the whole day in St V’s today and saw barely any masks - a few surgical only. Such a shock after spending months visiting hospitals late 22/early 23 when everyone was masked.

@NurseIngrid2 I rang my dental surgery and asked that all staff in the room with me be in N95s while I had two big procedures in one day. They enthusiastically complied, even the reception staff were masked when I arrived.

@ImRobWalker Grieving is a very hard thing and totally unpredictable. My funeral director put all their bereaved customers in touch with a grief counsellor and I think that’s very wise. It’s helpful to chat with someone who knows the terrain. Sending you best wishes. It’s a journey.

@1goodtern The idea of chronic illness is completely abstract to someone who hasn’t experienced it. That’s what I have observed in my several decades with ME. It’s something ’other people’ suffer. This is a massive generalisation, but I think broadly true.

@NurseIngrid2 I’m bloody over masking. I thought it would be for a while until a better vaccine or something came along. But now it’s hitting home thst it might be forever and that fills me with horror.

@Oldboatie I have one or two friends who I think would do it, but in general I would risk seeing less of family/friends and the mental health cost of that would be too high for me.
