I am deeply saddened by the loss of Field Marshal Mukami Kimathi, a legendary Mau Mau heroine and freedom fighter. She fought bravely alongside her husband, Field Marshal Dedan Kimathi, against the colonial oppressors and showed a selfless and compassionate love for her country.
Standing in for Kenya Navy Base Mtongwe Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Onyancha, Major Ndirangu of Kenya Navy Fleet Formation appreciated @DedanKimathi for the dedication to support the initiative with the required tree seedlings and availing the Green Army team of Volunteers .
