“What we say is a total ban in the usage of tinted vehicles. We're not looking at whether you have tinted permits or you don't have. Don't use tinted, not permit now. If you use tinted vehicles we will arrest you.” — FCT CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi
Many iPhone vendors don’t know this, and those who know it won't tell you.
Before you buy any fairly used iPhone at all, there’s a hidden Apple diagnostics trick that can help you know if the phone is in good condition.
Here's how:
1. Switch off the iPhone completely.
2. Hold both Volume Up + Volume Down buttons simultaneously.
3. Plug your charger while still holding the volume buttons.
4. Wait a few seconds while still holding the buttons.
5. The diagnostics page should appear after a while.
From there, you can test things like battery, Face ID, camera, speakers, sensors, etc.
Some supposedly “clean” iPhones already have hidden hardware faults. This process can help you spot them before you pay.
You can also check this on an iPhone you're already using, so you can know if your phone is all right.
There's also an app that can help you do this.
Maybe I'll talk about it later in another post.
Road Safety stopped me this morning.
I’m usually bold whenever they stop me but this morning, I opened my trunk to find that my fire extinguisher was nowhere to be found.
These guys started screaming and saying they’d impound my car if I don’t settle them with 50k.
You could buy a house with the priceless look on their faces when I told them it was a 3k offence and that they should write the ticket. 😂
To people doubting this, I have done this a few times. I help people do it for free. Especially if it’s locked on AT&T.
See this email from 2024.
Instead of you to try it, you are calling me a liar because those who make money off you said I was lying.
Truth will set you free.
The story is long but come along. You will learn and we need help too 🙏
So, these couple have been looking for 2 bedroom apartment within Yaba axis and you know how desperate people can be when they are house hunting. They came across that banner with “To let” in different locations around Iwaya Yaba, so they called the second number to ask if they have any apartment in Yaba around where the banner was seen. Someone introduced as Kunle picked the call. He said he is an agent and has several apartments around Yaba but he wasn’t available at that moment. He said that one of his boys is around “Ola”. That is Ola, the old oloriburuku man in the picture. Kunle connected them with Ola that Ola was going to take them round Yaba for inspections. Ola started taking them round Iwaya Yaba to different properties which they didn’t like from Wednesday 19th April, until he brought them to a particular house on Queen Street Alagomeji, Yaba on Friday 24th April, 2026.
When they got to this house, they saw a real estate company banner on the property. The couple immediately asked Ola why there’s a banner on the house and it’s not their banner. He immediately explained that several agents are marketing the property. The people who placed banner there are just like them. That it is the same access they all have to the landlord and the landlord will let out the house to who came first with tenants. So they entered the compound and the gateman granted them access as per agent and clients. They inspected the vacant flat and immediately fell in love with it but it was a 3-bedroom flat.
This Ola agent and Kunle agent told them the house was going for 3.5m with total package making it a total of 4m but it exceeded their budget of 2.5m rent and total package of 3m. So, Agent Kunle told them was going to speak with the landlord to reduce the rent and he will reach out to them. The next day being Saturday, he made them understand that he has spoken with the landlord who has agreed to the 2.5m rent somehow but he wants to meet with them first. The couple were very happy and they scheduled Sunday to meet this landlord. This is where the scam took a little height.
They agreed to meet the landlord who is known as Chief Daniel at his house on Ekololu Street in Surulere around 1pm that Sunday. All this while, Agent Kunle never showed up. It was Agent Ola that was doing all the field work but they were mostly speaking with Agent Kunle in phone who was acting like the real agent boss. Agent Ola met the couple on Sunday and they all headed towards Surulere. On getting to the house at Surulere, someone stood outside the gate like he just came out from the compound, he exchanged pleasantries with Agent Ola and their conversation in Yoruba was “How far, How are you, we are here to see Chief, he is inside right?” The other guy quickly replied “Noo, you missed Chief o. He was feeling some kind of way this morning and quickly went to LUTH for check up. Call him”. In a nutshell, they never entered the compound. So Agent Ola called Chief Daniel at the gate telling him he was with the prospective tenants and he told them to come and meet him at LUTH. Omo, people are wicked in this country o.
They soon conveyed themselves to LUTH and on getting there, Chief Daniel came out from one of the buildings in LUTH and they all sat in a spot within LUTH compound where he interviewed them. Chief Daniel was a very elderly rich looking man. He asked the couple so many questions and they even cracked several jokes. On the long run, he agreed to the 2.5m rent and they agreed other fees making the total 3.1m. Agent Kunle on phone even told them they will pay service charge of 100k yearly for lawma and security only. They agreed to pay the fee the next day which is Monday and Chief even told them he couldn’t give them his account number at that spot, that his wallet where he wrote it is in the Ward where his doctor was examining him. That he will send it later.

I was listening to a message by Pastor Femi Lazarus on the “crisis of faith,” on his tiktok page and it really got me thinking.
Sometimes you wonder why bad things happen even to believers. It’s not like we don’t pray or trust God. I remember when I lost my mum… and then my dad
