Reminds me how back in the days Google refused to make YT/Gmail apps for the Windows Phone and it consistently killed the 3rd party ones. Cuz they didn’t want a new competitor.

Now they don’t wanna their competitor to expand. It’s not about innovation, it’s about money.

Sadly after the AirPods MAX “update” I’m convinced we’ll be stuck with the same exteriors though.

My friend’s wife got upgraded from 11 Pro to 16 Pro yesterday.
All three of us in a cafe.
He: what do you think of the Dynamic Island?
She: What’s that?
He: *points at it*
She: oh I haven’t even noticed

@BasicAppleGuy I’ve upgraded to these from the lightning one and to me the main bummer is that they removed the ability to connect it to the audio-jack. So the USB-C is entirely for charging. Twelfesouth AirFly to the rescue.

The iPhone 13 Pro wasn’t as big of an update compared to the 12 Pro, so to boost the sales we got a new colour next Spring.

Something tells me there’ll be a new colour of the iPhone 16 Pro next spring.
