Summer is upon us.
And I've returned to my little French island.
When I was here last year, BTC was hovering around $55K.
And my son wasn't even walking yet.
I remember sitting at a cafe surrounded by my fellow europoor bon vivants, thinking we'd be over $100K by next year.
And here we are.
Bitcoin is $107K as Stack Jr. enthusiastically strolls the quay, befriending everyone he passes.
The Pi Cycle Indicator, which measures short-term exuberance, is at a mere 37th percentile.
There's little to no froth in the Bitcoin market.
Just tireless stacking by corporates, sovereigns, and individuals as whale sellers slowly exhaust themselves.
So what's my prediction for one year from now?
I have a few:
- BTC will be over $150K
- The neat "4 year cycle" will be broken
- "I'm a buyer at $3K" Bitcoin permabears will be in absolute disarray.
- I will increase my personal and corporate holdings of spot BTC by creating value for many.
- Stack Jr. will be running around while #2 experiences their first summer on [redacted].
- I will do strenuous activity in nature, build useful things for others, provide for my family, curate my thoughts, stay grateful for each day on this beautiful planet... And grow closer to God each day as a result.
Many of you will do exactly the same.
Which is why Bitcoiners will continue to win while the rest of the world does whatever it does.
We create value, stack sats, and enjoy life.
It's just as my little island reminds me each time I hop off the ferry from the continent:
La vie simple est la plus belle.
Yesterday I posted a very balanced take on the Sats vs. Bitcoins debate.
And while it's important to steel man both sides in a debate before coming to a conclusion...
Today I want to unequivocally state:
THERE WILL NEVER BE MORE THAN 21 MILLION BITCOIN.
This isn't XRP.
If you want small numbers, learn to think in Sats or go muck about in the shitcoin casino.
Owning a whole coin will remain aspirational to 99.9% of people.
Like owning a ski-in ski-out chalet in Verbier, or a waterfront villa on Lac Léman.
Bitcoin is for everyone.
But you need to earn the right to call yourself a Wholecoiner.
And that's a good thing.
Long live the 21 Million meme.
The most valuable meme ever invented.
