@dshnkr2 @RK_reflections got to that one. Didn’t appreciate it as much in teens, but the more mature tone was just the perfect pairing for my gardening. Slight spoilers but I was floating by the final proposal :)

Today’s PC for that show managed to sneak onto my TL despite all filters.

Can’t believe I once gave so much thought and my time to this show. That I ever believed makers had good intentions for FL.

My expectations were already in the ground, but today was the pits. Shameful.

@Monster5390 @dshnkr2 It is! Even better as an audio book if you can find it. Though I don’t know how effective in summer because the book is very atmospheric and set in winter. I read/listened to it in winter while doing jigsaw puzzles and it was one of my coziest experiences ever :)

Also listening to the DC Smith Detective novels by Peter Grainger on Audible. They are free with subscription and the narrator has a very comforting, wry tone. Tone is warm but not cutesy British village.
