🚨 DEAR @NMC_BHARAT , @TelanganaCMO & @ts_health — WHO IS ACCOUNTABLE?

Medical students of GMC Jagtial are on the ROAD demanding CLASSROOMS, LABS & HOSTELS.

These are not luxuries. These are the BARE MINIMUM requirements of a medical college.
How are medical colleges being permitted to function when students have to protest for basic infrastructure?
Future doctors belong in classrooms and hospitals—not on roads fighting for their basic rights.
Immediate intervention and accountability are needed.

A WRITTEN AGREEMENT AT LAST! ✊

After days of peaceful protest, GMC Jagtial students have secured a written agreement with the R&B Department, setting deadlines for hostel handover by November 25, 2026, the permanent college building by December 9, 2026, and complete campus infrastructure by February 2027.

This is a step forward. Now, the focus must be on implementation and meeting every deadline.

Promises are now on paper. We will keep watching until they become reality.

UNITY WORKS. BUT WRITTEN COMMITMENTS MATTER. ✊

T-JUDA stands with GMC Jagtial students and commits to following up until real, measurable progress is achieved.

We welcome the attention from the DME and the assurance from the R&B Minister. Now, those assurances must translate into written commitments and visible action on the ground.

Our fight is for basic infrastructure, quality medical education and our future.

DAY 3 | A STEP FORWARD, BUT WE NEED IT IN WRITING.

After discussions with the DME, District Collector and R&B Minister, an oral assurance was given that the GMC Jagtial campus would be completed by December 10.

We welcome this as a positive sign. But after years of delays and repeated assurances, we need a written commitment with a clear deadline—not just words.

Day 3 of our peaceful protest continues. We remain hopeful, united and firm in our demand.

Promises must become action.

DAY 2 | AFTERNOON SESSION

The protest continues.

GMC Jagtial students are back together this afternoon, standing peacefully and firmly for the basic infrastructure required for our education and training.

Our presence is strong. Our demand is clear. We need action, not assurances.

NMC, please take note.

A medical college should be a place to learn medicine — not a construction site.

This is the ground reality at GMC Jagtial: unfinished buildings, heavy machinery, dug-up roads and students continuing their education around ongoing construction.

Nearly four years after establishment, how much longer should students wait?

@NMC_BHARAT , please take note.

Students from across India study here, and they are facing the same reality.

Different states, different backgrounds, but one shared struggle at GMC Jagtial — inadequate infrastructure affecting classrooms, laboratories, hostels, transport and basic academic facilities.

Medical students deserve better. NMC, please take note.

This protest is not against education. This protest is FOR better education.
This is not a demand for comfort. This is a demand for dignity, safety, and minimum standards.
