CALL FOR RESIGNATION:

This man, CG Musa, was born and brought up in Sokoto State and spent most of his youthful years within a predominantly Muslim community. The Muslim community gave him shelter, supported him, and welcomed him.

Yet, his recent interview has raised serious concerns about his choice of words and the mindset behind them, particularly his reference to “our people.”

As a senior military officer, we expected that, as part of military orientation and training, there should be no room for religious or ethnic differences. The military is supposed to be an institution that brings Nigerians together, regardless of their religion, ethnicity, region or background.

So for that, as a concerned citizen, I am passing a vote of no confidence, I call on CG Musa’s immediate resignation as the Minister of Defense.

It may not bother some people, but the continued detention of @elrufai is not about justice; it is political vendetta. It is easy to look the other way because he is not your headache, and perhaps because you don’t consider him a nice person. But that is exactly how oppression works, it becomes acceptable when the victim is someone we dislike. I’ll put ₦5 million on the table for anyone who can show us major new roads alike that this administration has constructed across Kano metropolis apart from those in Nasarawa GRA.

Kano doesn’t start and end in one local government. The metropolitan area has multiple LGAs, and development should be visible across all of them, not concentrated in a single area.

What’s even more disappointing is that many of the people who drive Kano’s economy don’t even live in those areas.

If you’re celebrating statewide road construction, let’s see the evidence from the other metropolitan LGAs too.
