@Arnold_Platon Even for Germany where this data exists, the map looks like it might be based on 15year old data (when newer official data exists) compare
2022 https://t.co/W4T2VQIQEd
And 2011:

@cinansnickem@BA_fterbirth@Unknown1542256@barneyrubbl3 Most people will probably feel those 40% "wins" from the new system way less, even though its better on average.
Note, this is not accounting for the 10-ticket pull rewards, but I would expect that "pulls spent" and "pyroxene spent" are also not equivalent experiences for players
@cinansnickem@BA_fterbirth@Unknown1542256@barneyrubbl3 There is a real argument, though badly articulated. Comparing the two systems using the same randomness, the avg player observes better results in old sys 20% of the time, while 40% will be better in the new sys. A 1in5 "loss"-event will occure frequently and it will hurt more.
@ytrav_alt@luciascarlet I prefer the Swiss German layout over the German one for coding. Still far from perfect for coding but for me a better compromise that doesn't require switching layout.
@Sayuki_Suki@PlanatonicplapA Normal this year (Jan&Feb were 5th anniversary months on jp, June 5th anniversary on global). Though there is a clear downwards trend over the years.
Note that these numbers are missing the data from the PC/steam version (and its probably best to view them with a grain of salt).
@Shinrenzaku@mathias9807 the milestones are not an after the fact bandaid. Their existence (including free limited time 10-pull tickets) was announced in the livestream when they also announced the pity system. https://t.co/8pUUo0K8ZY
@SkilZofSkilZent Keep in mind this missing all of the revenue of the steam version. No idea how much this affects global revenue, though.
We'll definitely have to wait at least until fest is over on jp before drawing conclusions
@SkilZofSkilZent Aris and Kei dropped on 29th January on jp.
Also, comparison with total June numbers is bad anyways, as that contains global 5th anniversary.
(Though all of these numbers should probably be taken with a chunk of salt anyways)
@Ihyvd014 Juli had no new limited on global and only 3 days of S.Makoto and S.Satsuki (+100 free pulls). June had most of 5 anniversary on global, and S.Kisaki and S.Shun on jp.
If you compare with March-May it looks normal.
We'll have to wait until end of August to see any real effect.
@ALVinhcent@Shinrenzaku@SydusArtsLinks or put another way, it's more punishing if you are unlucky, but, at least in theory, fewer players should be unlucky. More of a sidegrade than a clear upgrade or downgrade.
@ALVinhcent@Shinrenzaku@SydusArtsLinks it's "better" in that they changed the shape of the overall probability distribution in a way that more players will get their rate-up characters with fewer pulls. But they achieved this by making somewhat unlucky (but still ok in the old system) runs worse in the new system.
@LegendRazgriz@yuyukosupremacy with sparks untouched and adding pity based 50/50 on top you could come up with a system that's statistically inbetween the old and new system, but every unlucky run is also unlucky in the old system. But nexon likely also tries to predict how the system change affects revenue
