@_Indus_@EricLDaugh@CyberGreen09 It seems to me that this is all about workers being recruited directly from India. It is not about Indians graduating from American universities, who are some of the most talented students we have.
@grandonia@MoreBirths@BirthGauge Fertility in Islamic countries is declining too. Would be interesting to see how significant Islam is in fertility rate, if you control for GDP.

In this one occasion where Leo used the word “unjust,” he applied it to the Iranian regime, not the war and not President Trump. https://t.co/IDe4uiXAGt via @CrisisMag
Francis was notorious for saying from the opening months of his papacy to the very end that he wanted to “make a mess of things.” Well, his McElroy appointment was bound to make a mess. https://t.co/IDe4uiXAGt via @CrisisMag
@brianeharrison Although I believe that the student had very valid concerns that must be addressed, I think the text excerpt over the recording is misleading. The president did not challenge her claim that 75% of the class felt the same way she did. The entire dialogue seemed reasonable.
@honestpollster The fact that these were Indian programmers may be totally irrelevant. American programmers also design bad user interfaces and skimp on testing.
@elonmusk I don't know whether indirect costs are too high, but I can see how reducing them could make bureaucracy worse. If items that are currently paid for via indirect costs become direct costs, then budget justifications will become much more detailed and accounting more burdensome.
@Luis1776F @CatholicVote It is not just a Catholic hymn; it is the Notre Dame alma mater, composed by long-time band director Joe Casasanta and debuted at Knute Rockne's funeral in 1931. There is probably no other song that is so tied up with tradition at Notre Dame.
.@realDonaldTrump@JDVance I'm pleased that you oppose birthright citizenship for the children of tourists, illegal aliens, and others not permanently & lawfully residing in the U.S. I hope you will work to resolve this issue in 2025. https://t.co/TQDCnDJhU1
@Acyn You are so right about Trump's character. Thank you for saying that. But Biden's character is just as bad, and his policies are a lot worse. I will hold my nose and vote for Trump.
Now they have convicted him on 34 acts that are not even clearly illegal. It's obvious this is a political witch hunt. Donald Trump's crime is that they desperately don't want him to be president. https://t.co/Civ52IPjBZ via @CrisisMag
