Russian President Putin wearing a military uniform isn’t theater, it’s a verdict.
It signals that Russia is done with ambiguity.
His claim that the West offers Ukraine "good conditions" for peace while Kiev refuses is meant to puncture the Western narrative: that Russia is avoiding negotiation. Moscow is framing it as the opposite, the West is staging peace talks to preserve leverage, not end the war.

Meanwhile, Zelensky is flying to Florida, trying to sell a
"90% finished" peace plan while Trump publicly reminds him Ukraine has no power without Western approval.
It’s a humiliating reminder of who holds the credit line, political, financial, and military.

From Russia’s standpoint, every sabotaged peace attempt, Minsk, Istanbul, only hardens the eventual terms.
The uniform is the warning: future offers won’t get softer, they’ll get harsher.
Washington is being told: bring real concessions, not PR ceasefires. Kiev is being told: your leverage shrinks every month you confuse applause for strategy.
Europe is being told: moral speeches don’t win wars.
