@MaxwellPerhaps@Skye_Melissax yeah it’s quite universal especially on this platform. educating can feel meaningless when it just ends with “idgaf i like meat”
@Wisp0_0@livyoshi_@Viki_Therian no, the majority of people have the capability to stop eating meat. plant proteins are fine and take absurdly less resources to produce.
@elivaden01@xForest_Ghoulx be serious. 99.9% of all meat cultivation is in horrid factories, obviously the indigenous tribes of alaska eating whale once a year is not the main problem. i’m not a defender of ai, but i would consider ai usage in medical research much more ethical
@thebradybutch@xForest_Ghoulx this appeal to nature is tired. we’re opportunistic omnivores. just because we have the capabilities to digest meat doesn’t mean we “ought to.” why go out of our way to destroy the environment and maintain the suffering of billions of animals when we could just.. not?
@jammmin_outt@GuesstOlse44799@jobbysandwixh@mistynatpilled veggies fruits and grains are main food groups, if you end up malnourished you’re simply not eating right, which you can do eating just about anything. the majority of the meat eating population aren’t exactly champions of health.
@neyranglvr@xForest_Ghoulx that’s a small minority of the population, the majority do not need to eat meat. consuming beans, lentils, rice, vegetables in place of steak is the opposite of privileged in the majority of the world. this argument is disingenuous
@flamencojay@Rick824859@mistynatpilled the only thing meat has that plants don’t is b12, and it’s not even from the animal itself, but the microorganisms they eat. they’re also supplemented it in the meat industry lol.. so it’s normal for a vegan to supplement it too
