Daughter back from Korea. Mommy is happy her baby is back. 20 minutes from landing to walking out with bags including going through customs & immigration! Flying as an unaccompanied minor certainly has some perks!
Quinn made it! Of course she had to fly around a volcano and an arctic storm turning a 14 hr flight into a 17 hour flight. But she is there with her aunt and uncle and all is better. She just never seems to do things the easy way. Hoping for a great week after she wakes up!
While I am proud of my Quinn, I find it much harder to let her go than I anticipated. There is no choice anymore since she is through the gate now so I would expect a lack of choice should make this easier. However, I find it just got a little harder still.
My daughter Quinn is headed out on a fantastic journey to South Korea. 13 yo with the will and the sense of adventure to do this herself. I am very proud of her.
So, what is the appropriate age to get your daughter a credit card & put her on a plane to South Korea by herself? Apparently for me it is when your daughter is 13 years old. On top of that she gets another spring break at Easter! I admit to being a little envious! πΊπΈβ‘οΈπ°π·
