Website stability and performance guidance for WordPress and Joomla site owners. Helping you understand why websites slow down and become harder to maintain.
Most websites don’t break suddenly.
They become slower, harder to maintain, and more fragile over time.
Stability means understanding updates, avoiding dependency traps, and knowing how to recover quickly when something changes.
That’s what I write about at GeJay Media.
If you manage your own WordPress or Joomla site, this is where to begin:

Are you comfortable in front of the camera, dynamic, charming and always smiling?
Joomla is looking for one or more people willing to volunteer their time to breathe new life into communication about Joomla, its CMS, its users, its community and beyond.

@ScalerSohom Thank you! A lot more coming. I'm also open to any topic requests from people, whether they are users from WordPress or Joomla. Right now, I have at least 30 ideas on a list.
Well, I decided to simply rename my @andrejutras to @gejaymedia instead of cancelling and deleting it. I think it might have something to do with the fact that my Premium X subscription was renewed at $102. 🙄
Plus, I didn't realize that you can rename your X username. So, I decided to keep this X account--but just rename it and change the website to https://t.co/EtpeHTtMnP
Just a heads-up.
I'm moving my web development and Website optimization X posts to @GeJayMedia at the end of this month and closing this @andrejutras X profile. I'll be covering #Joomla and #WordPress
For a year, I've been using Affinity apps (Design, Photo, and Publisher). Good replacements for my Adobe PS I dropped. Although I would be kidding myself if I didn't say there were several things I miss about PS, as there are things I really don't like about Affinity. Especially now that Canva bought Serif (Affinity), and they have now done something that is making everyone nervous. I hate to say this, but the Black Friday offer is tempting.
@themebullet I miss Macromedia...but Affinity, it takes some getting used to the apps for it, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I have not thought about Adobe for the last several months. I will be honest, I miss Photoshop, but in my opinion, Affinity is well worth the change.
Remember when you can buy your software?
Today, after 15 years, I cancelled my Adobe and went to @affinitybyserif
Adobe = Big Price increases, bloated apps, and of course, I'm done with their subscription model.
@threethemes I was just checking out the https://t.co/OqUZT7uTvV website and came across an article about RocketTheme. I must have been under a rock because that shocked me to read they are no more!
I have to confess...I've been negligent with this profile due to being pulled in too many directions. However, this is about to change soon as I am refocusing on a new path. I'm still going to talk about #Joomla but I'm going to bring in some #WordPress as well...details coming.

I use my own snippets of code that I saved in an archive over the years. However, I do coding myself. The only time I might use AI for code is if I am stuck on something and need it for troubleshooting. It helps if I can save hours of trying to figure something out.
Developers have their own coding styles, and anyone who is familiar with the style might pick up on a difference, but to recognize if it's AI is questionable.
Can I pick out errors in generated code? Actually, yes.
@mgaak1dev I always check the update changelog to see what was updated. I look for the critical issues. I then follow up with compatibility with existing plugins (and PHP version requirements). If I decide to update, I make a full backup (2 actually) before I "click".
