It is an honour to stand today at the 𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗔 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦 national summit held under the theme "From Reform to Lasting Change," I reflected on the journey that has brought us to this moment, a nation that has continuously risen, built the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam with its own hands. These are not chances. They are the results of deliberate choices, anchored in the spirit of Medemer, the conviction that lasting change is built through coming together.

Our reforms are not an end in themselves; they are the foundation we lay for the generations that will come after us. For nation building is a collective work that does not conclude with any single generation, and with that conviction, I call on every Ethiopian to carry this spirit forward, to receive what we have built, and to rise higher still!

The corridor development projects are transforming many cities as part of the effort to build a better country for future generations. Overall, these projects are preparing the country for the growing trend of urbanization. Today, we observed the corridor development works carried out in the second phase in the beautiful city of Hawassa.

It’s with a genuine sense of sadness that I learnt of the passing of El Fateh Irwa, a former Sudanese military & intelligence officer, consummate diplomat & successful businessman. El Fateh was also one of the most ardent supporters of the cause of the people of Tigray during the 17 years armed struggle and later in his life. I had the opportunity to get to know him a few years ago and I could witness he was every bit the generous Sudanese politician my older colleagues described him to be. He was also the courageous pilot-daredevil others would say-who volunteered to fly a private Cessna to Addis Ababa that carried Meles Zenawi & Seyoum Mesfin on their way to Addis on the first week of June, 1991. El Fateh also flew that same plane, mummified at the mekelle Martyr’s Memorial Museum, to Mekelle on the 40th anniversary of TPLF. My condolences to his family, to the Sudanese people and to all his friends.

በአንድ ወቅትም የብሔራዊ ቤተ መንግሥት እድሳት ፕሮጀክትንም ሰርተን ዛሬ የሚያኮራ እውነታ ሆኖ እየታየ ነው።

ወደፊትም የኢትዮጵያን ኢኮኖሚ ማሻሻያ ማዘመንን ለመደገፍ እና በትግራይ የሰላምና የመረጋጋት መሰረት የሆነውን የፕሪቶሪያ ስምምነትን ተግባራዊ ለማድረግ ትብብር እናደርጋለን።

የተከበሩ ጠቅላይ ሚንስትር @AbiyAhmedAli የወደፊቷ የኢትዬጵያ ተስፋ የብልጽግናና የሰላም እንደሚሆን ፈረንሳይ እምነቷ ነው።
