I love that Belle chose to use “we” and “us” rather than “I” It just goes to show that they are still in this together. This has never been about going solo or parting ways. It’s always been about giving each other room to grow individually, but that does not mean having to grow apart.

Taking different paths doesn’t automatically mean heading to different destinations. Some may prefer a different route, and that’s okay. Whether one takes a rougher road and the other a longer one, it doesn’t matter. What is important is having the same end destination.

When you are done exploring your own paths and have reached your end goals together, we will be there cheering you on at the finish line because all roads lead to DonBelle endgame😉

can’t stop thinking about how “don’t listen to them” from you’ll be in my heart hits so hard because so much of their story has always been shaped by outside voices - people trying to define something they were never fully invited into.

but what really gets me is the progression from “i may not be w you” to “we’ll show them together” to “you’ll be in my heart.” for me, that doesn’t read like an ending at all. it reads like a promise, that even if the season they’re in now no longer allows the kind of proximity or visibility we were once used to seeing from them publicly, what they are to each other remains unwavering.

maybe that’s why those lines feel so them to me. there’s a kind of certainty in them, like the kind of bond that doesn’t need constant explanation or public validation to remain real.
