Pre Arteta in the PL, our last W at OT was in 2006, our last W at Spurs was in 2015, our last W at the Bridge was in 2011, our last points at Etihad/Anfield were in 2016. Under Arteta, 2 W’s at OT, 3 W’s at Spurs, 3 W’s at the Bridge, 2 draws at the Etihad and 2 draws at Anfield.
The ball was moving which means free kick ought to have been retaken. That’s not arguable and it’s worrying that specialists couldn’t spot that. But unsurprising.
This is the player who got me from 8th to challenging for titles. A world class winger that has taken this club on his own back whilst experiencing immense abuse off the pitch and always unfairly questioned by the football world.
Season after season he’s gone up a level or two on his performances and that has positively impacted Arsenal’s progress as a club. Now 23, we will witness a player ahead of his age mates when it comes to mentality and leadership by guiding Arsenal to the promised land.
We are all living in Bukayo Saka’s world….Happy Birthday to the best player at Arsenal Football Club.
Three years on and this boy meant what he said.
“You deserve more Arsenal fans” and Bukayo Saka has given us more every single day from that moment.
He scored Arsenal’s first Champions League goal in seven years tonight and it just had to be him.
He’s special, but every Arsenal fan already knew that.
Thank you, @BukayoSaka87.❤️
