I’ve seen online posts selling doxycycline without a doctor’s assessment/consultation. This is risky and alarming. SOME STIs HAS NO SYMPTOMS but can still cause long-term harm. Taking antibiotics without testing can leave these infections undetected and left untreated.

BUT it should only be taken under medical supervision, with PROPER SCREENING (for Syphilis, Gonorrhea and Chlamydia) and follow-up.
